Loved exploring the Museum Puri Lukisan's modern art scene. Alchemy Cafe's raw and vegan food was a magical culinary experience. Found unique antiques and beautiful textiles at Karmarama Lifestyle's boutique. Wonderful Balinese massage at a hidden paradise. Monkey Forest was a wild adventure.
Sleeping next to a noisy generator and no room change option.

We had an incredible stay at this luxurious resort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. Quiet environment, comfortable and well planned rooms/villas, very helpful and courteous staff, good opportunities for cultural visits
Food could improve somewhat in terms of choice, it is under par compared to the quality of the resort. Also there is no transport option to the resort, while arrival in Bali can at times be chaotic. The hotel is not easily found by drivers from Denpasar. An option to have pick up organized with help from resort would be of interest. Once at the resort there is no such problem.

The villas were just splendid. Very spacious and clean. We had a two bedroom villa, two huge bathrooms with shower and bath and with our own swimming pool. The villa is surrounded by walls, which gives it a very secluded and private feeling. Although we missed the view a bit. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous! The staff is very friendly and are doing their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Every morning the breakfast was served in the villa, exactly at the time that we asked. There was a really nice guy at the reception who booked our cooking course and cycling tour. He chose the best activities, and we payed the organisations directly the prices that were listed on their websites. So I did not get the impression that the hotel earned anything from that. The hotel organises a nice morning walk though the nearby ricefields and a painting class (free). Our children very much enjoyed that. I would definitely recommend the Bali Rich. I would like to thank the staff for a wonderful stay.
A little minus is that it is quite far from the city. But it was easy to use the shuttle of the hotel, and it was also easy to get tansportation back. At the other hand, it is nicely located above a river valley, with gorgeous views on a jungle. And you can escape the hussle and buzzle from the city. The othe little minus was the restaurant. It has a large menu, but the quality is moderate.

Very clean, spacious, peaceful, and comfortable. The staff is friendly, and the free shuttle is nice (albeit only at specific times). The breakfast is also good, and enjoyable to eat in your private villa.
The wifi and television did not work properly. The private "pool" is too small to really do anything except look at and stand in. The walls around our villa were too tall (about 5M) which felt more fortress-like than private and secluded. It's a bit far from Ubud and difficult to find if the taxi driver does not know the place. The last free shuttle is at 5:30, which is too early if you plan on eating dinner in town and leaves you having to haggle with taxi drivers--I recommend to rent a motorbike (less than US$5/day) and save yourself the hassle of getting around the island. Overall, it's a nice place, but too expensive for what you get in return.

Big room with incredible bathroom. Good breakfast, friendly staff, the location had good views.
The location, 30 minutes to city center by car. Almost no sun in the room during the dayligth. The small private pool is for nothing. The shuttle bus service is very bad in the afternoons, no service between five and ten to come back. Everything you want to rent in the hotel was more than double the fair price.

The Pros of my stay here were absolutely amazing! Our villa style room exceeded all expectations with its huge size and private pool. The indoor and outdoor areas, including the outdoor kitchen and dining area, added to the luxury and convenience. The second-floor private area was a perfect spot to relax. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, with excellent food and a personal touch from Chef Gade. The hotel also provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere, even with other families and children around. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay truly memorable. this property went above and beyond to provide a quiet, elegant, and enjoyable sanctuary for our vacation.

The villas are very nice and definitely worth the money! The whole area is not too big, but very cozy. Staff there are extremely friendly!
Perhaps a slightly stronger internet connection, other than that, it was perfect!

Double room villa has nice space. Staff if friendly and ready to help. Offer a morning walk in he rice fields.
Bed was not very comfortable. The location is a bit out of Ubud, but it is not a problm since the hotel can take you to town for 5$ or has shuttle 3 times a day. Try to be a luxury hotel but it is not. The bath is nice and spacy but to fill up a bath will take you 1 hour. Breakfest is not great.

The resort was absolutely beautiful with stunning views overlooking the jungle and rice fields. The cozy and relaxing atmosphere made it a perfect getaway. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. The private villa was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a group of friends or family. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, and we loved dining with the breathtaking views. the customer service and ambiance of the resort were top-notch.
The resort's location outside of the city meant there were no nearby amenities such as shops. some areas of the resort appeared slightly worn and in need of renovation.

Friendly staffs, beautiful villa. Quiet location. My family stayed at this villa for 2 nights with 2 young children, 3 & 6 yrs old. We stayed in 2 bedroom villa, each room is seperated and dining outside along side of swimming pool. Beautiful and clean bathroom, I really liked stone bath tub. Huge king sized bed, spacious room. It is private villa only has less than 10 villa, so you can enjoy your private holiday. Bali rich villa has many activities at free of charge, we had canang making and painting class which my children and myself enjoyed a lot. I also did morning walk, it is highly recommended as you can see real beauty of Ubud, surrunded by rice fields and local people. My family also had a tour at charge of 50usd from the villa, it takes whole day and with this tour, you can see almost every aspects of Ubud area.
